Prophetic Theme: GOD’S PLAN FOR ME IS IN HIS BOOK – Isa. 29:11-12
Teaching Series: UNDERSTANDING WHO YOU ARE IN REDEMPTION FROM THE WORD
Introduction:
v The word of God is a spiritual mirror that shows who we are in Christ, what we have and what we can do – Jam. 1:22-25
James 1:22-25
King James Version
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
v The Word of God can also be likened to a bowl of water from where we see what we look like –
Pro. 27:19/
Proverbs 27:19King James Version
19 As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
Eph. 5:26/
Ephesians 5:26King James Version
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Isa. 55:1/11
Isaiah 55:1King James Version
55 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isaiah 55:11King James Version11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Understanding Who You are in Redemption from the Word - Prt 3
Ø You are redeemed to dominate your world –
Jn 1:1-5/9/
John 1:1-5King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Isa. 60:1-3/
Isaiah 60:1-3King James Version
60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.
1 Thes. 5:5
1 Thessalonians 5:5King James Version
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Ø But we must continue to walk in the light, that is, doing whatever God tells us to do, in order to remain in dominion –
Jn 8:12/
John 8:12King James Version
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Jn 12:35-36/
John 12:35-36King James Version
35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
Dan. 12:3
Daniel 12:3King James Version
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
